If only the doors were open... |
After working our way along the enormously long line of people getting through customs, we collected our luggage and took a cab to El Monte RV to pick up our RV that was in storage with them. We made the short distance to Lomita where we we spent a few days with our niece Su-lin and her husband Jo. Over those few days Jo and Su-Lin became our taxi and tour guides driving us to various places to purchase supplies for the RV and showing us some of LA's highlights like Rodeo drive, Hollywood and Beverley Hills. All for the stylish, sophisticated and the rich and famous. We were treated to great food, a good time and experienced that wonderful family hospitality. All too quickly the time had come for us to leave LA behind and continue on to Flagstaff where we will meet up with our travel buddies......
